As Apple gears up for the release of its highly anticipated iPhone 16 Pro models, reports have surfaced indicating that the devices will feature even thinner bezels, posing a significant challenge to Apple's suppliers. The reduction in bezel size is expected to result in a sleeker and more immersive display, enhancing the overall user experience.
Apple is employing its Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology to achieve this, using under-display technology that poses a challenge for its suppliers. None of Apple's suppliers have managed to produce enough units to meet the company's standards. Three suppliers are expected to contribute to the iPhone 16 series: BOE (Jingdongfang) for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus displays, LG Display for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max OLED screens, and Samsung Display for screens across all four models.
Apple remains committed to delivering cutting-edge technology and design in its flagship smartphones, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the mobile industry. As the launch date approaches, all eyes will be on Apple and its suppliers to see how they navigate these challenges and deliver a seamless user experience with the iPhone 16 Pro models.
